Where are you located?
We live in Ohio.
Are you married? # of children
yes, my husband is a sculptor and we have 5 children, ---3 boys & 2 girls all under 7 yrs old.
Interests/hobbies:
gardening, reading, music, nature.
Tell us about your business:
I am a fine artist, I draw pastel portraits of people and pets from photographs
along with plein air pastel landscapes, that are drawn outside live.
How long have you been in business?
I have loved to draw and paint since I can remember. The love has always
been there and it has just grown along with my ability to express it.
What is the toughest part about working at home?
whew!!! the toughest part for me, is staying organized, prioritized and balanced.
It is a challenge to complete all aspects of running my business, creating the artwork, marketing it
and taking care of my home, children and husband successfully, I'm a work in a progress. lol
What is the biggest perk?
The biggest perk of being a wahm is the ability to be at home with my children. I adore them and believe it's crucial that I'm here for them, above anything else.
What WAHM tip do you have to offer?
The best tip I have to offer is try to find and have other wahms as friends with similiar goals
and drive. The business's can be completely different but we share the same issues.
The strength and support I've received from my fellow wahms goes beyond words, there are not any ego's, or selfishness , we are all pulling for each other, it's truly amazing!
